It's easy to praise the Lord when things are peachy, but what about when you just lost your job, your spouse is facing a serious illness, or you are too stressed trying to care for elderly parents as well as your children? Life is filled with disappointments and challenges that make it hard to be thankful for anything. When you don't think there's is anything to be grateful for, stop, take a breath, and think of something - anything - to appreciate. No matter how small. If you can get in the practice of finding something good with each day, you'll start feeling better about life. And then your gratitude will be infectious.
