1 Corinthians 13:2

If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

It's wonderful to endeavor to do your very best in all you do, but think about why you do it. Is it to boost your ego or make a name for yourself? Is it to further your own cause?

Simply put, if we do great things, but for the wrong reasons, it means nothing in God's eyes. If we truly love God, we strive to glorify His name in all we do.  Otherwise, our motives are self-serving and, in the big scheme of things, mean absolutely nothing.

But God first in everything you do. God will know and you will see a difference in your outcome.
